Terms of Service
Effective September 23, 2026
1.Who we are
SETLD is a payments platform for youth sports coaches, operated in the United States. Coaches use SETLD to collect team dues, run donations and fundraisers, and keep a record of what each family has paid.
By creating an account or paying through a SETLD link you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use SETLD.
2.Accounts
Coaches create an account to set up teams, dues, and fundraisers. Parents may create an account to see their balance and payment history, or they may pay from a link without one.
You must be 18 or older to hold a SETLD account. Keep your login private. You are responsible for activity under your account, and you agree to give us accurate information and keep it current.
3.What SETLD does and does not do
SETLD helps coaches request money and helps parents pay it. Card and bank payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe Connect. Money moves from the payer to the coach’s connected Stripe account. SETLD never holds, stores, or has custody of your funds.
SETLD is not a bank, a money transmitter, or a party to the arrangement between a coach and a family. The coach is responsible for what the money is used for and for delivering whatever the payment was for.
4.Fees
Coaches pay a subscription: Starter at $9.99 per month for one team, or Pro at $15.99 per month for up to five teams. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.
Parent dues carry no SETLD platform fee. Stripe’s processing fee is deducted from the coach’s payout.
Donations and fundraiser contributions carry a 10% SETLD platform fee, and Stripe’s processing fee is also deducted from the coach’s payout. The fee is shown before you pay.
5.Venmo and Zelle
A coach may choose to accept Venmo or Zelle. Those payments go directly from the parent to the coach and never pass through SETLD or Stripe. SETLD only records that a payment was reported. Any question about a Venmo or Zelle payment is between the parent and the coach.
6.Refunds and disputes
Refunds for card and bank payments are issued by the coach from their SETLD dashboard back to the original payment method. Donations are generally non-refundable unless the coach chooses to refund them. See the Refund Policy for details.
If you dispute a charge with your card issuer, Stripe and the coach handle the dispute. SETLD may share the payment record with Stripe to help resolve it.
7.Acceptable use
Use SETLD only for legitimate youth sports team activity. Do not use it to collect money under false pretenses, to run a raffle or lottery where that is not allowed, to sell goods or services unrelated to your team, or for anything illegal.
Do not attempt to interfere with the service, scrape it, or access another user’s data. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
8.Your content
Team names, player names, fundraiser stories, and images you upload stay yours. You give SETLD permission to display them so the service works, for example on a public donation page you create.
9.Availability and liability
SETLD is provided as is. We work to keep it available and accurate but do not promise it will be error free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, SETLD is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10.Changes and termination
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify account holders by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@setld.team. We may close accounts that violate these terms.
